My life is far from glamorous. As my oldest said “you wake up looking like a mess until you come out of the bathroom”. Well put son! My days start at 8am when the littlest “little D” wakes me by rolling onto me and poking and prodding my face until my eyes open. I co-sleep and have done so with all of our little’s, it’s just the way we roll. I fight his urge to start the day by cuddling him until he makes me give in. We then sneak off to the living room, where I get him comfy with a sippy cup and cartoons. Just enough time for me to revive myself (you know brush my teeth and throw water on my face) before any chaos ensues.
Then one by one the other two little’s join us. It’s a toss up who wakes up first my three and eleven year olds could sleep all day given the right amount of quiet and drawn curtains. Breakfast is always a must, waffles, eggs in a basket, yogurt, whatever we have on hand. Then the action starts, the dining room table converts into headquarters. I get to homeschool my 3 little men, it’s one of the craziest and exciting jobs, I have ever had. Little D and Little B happily hang at headquarters and keep themselves busy coloring, drawing and getting into all kinds of “projects”. We wrap up by mid afternoon and field trip, run errands or head for the outdoors.
Our day is messy, dirty, sticky and even slimy (you try having a house of three boys). How do I survive you ask, Huggies Natural Care Wipes. These are the most versatile must haves E-V-E-R. Don’t believe me? I dare you to try Huggies and put them to the test with any of your little messes. These things actually wipe the entire inside of my Suburban clean, they clean up sticky boys faces, they wipe up the table, oh and even clean bums superbly.

Parenting is not easy, but it’s amazing. I often wonder how I can be better at it. I recently had the opportunity to learn a few tips on parenting from Poncho de Anda. Sometimes we forget that the most important gift we can give as parents is our time. It’s not the amount of time either, but the pure one on one time we give to our children. The memories that will be there always is what will stick. Carry a camera, take pictures and treasure those special moments. Life goes so quick and a Day in the Life is a sweet reminder that if we take a little time out to decide what’s truly important our families will flourish.

Curious, did you use the huggies wipes to clean the car windows too? Because that’s where my kids seem to make the biggest messes (what’s up with that right?)

Yes and I use them to clean my iphone glass. Just rub a soft cloth over it to keep any streaks at bay.
Huggies are by far my favorite wipe!

We use wipes everywhere, too. I even carry them in my purse for emergencies.
