Add Some Garden to Your Meals like a fresh Green Bean Casserole

Add some garden to your meals with a delicious Green Bean Casserole. This Thanksgiving staple, has made it’s way into the rotation as a side dish to a couple of meals a week. The best part is even with a family of five we can have green bean casserole for a couple of meals.  Between this recipe and the glazed Brussel sprouts and bacon recipe adding some garden to your meals is becoming easier.

Add Some Garden to Your Meals With Green Bean Casserole
Green Bean Casserole with a twist

  • 5 cups sliced green beans
  • 1/2 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 Container Fried Onions
  • 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Mix together green beans, sour cream, condensed soup, fried onions (save a small portion for topping) salt and pepper.  Stir butter and crushed crackers sprinkle over casserole.
Bake 25 minutes, sprinkle remainder fried onions bake and additional 5 minutes.  Serve.
