I used to be a huge fan of auction sites {ebay, anyone?}. And not necessarily just for snatching a hot deal, but because I was able to sell items I didn’t need for cash. There was a time where I actually made good money doing it too. With all the fees these auction sites charge, it’s not even worth my time to sell anything even with free listing fee’s. Yup, they try to reel you in but they sure do spit you out and keep your money while they are at it. I am excited to introduce to you Auctionopia, it’s a New Free online marketplace.
Why do I love it?
One word, people FREE! You can list free with no seller fee’s. Another great feature Instant Messaging with the seller. Negotiate prices, shipping or ask for a discount in real time through the instant message feature. This makes your experience just like shopping right in a store. The site is fairly new, but they sure do have a great selection of items and categories. The prices are pretty comparable to those of other auctions sites looks like a win, win for sellers and buyers. Auctionopia.com is even rolling out free stores and for a storefront you can score for a discount price.

For now Auctionopia uses paypal for payments. *I have heard talk of a payment system, which will definitely raise the bar for all of us who are bound by paypal. Who doesn’t love a little competition, especially when it saves us money on fees.
