Everything you Need to Know about a Safe Bath Time | Baby Magic

bath time with Baby Magic

This post is sponsored by Baby Magic.

Happy, healthy and safe babies. Those are three key pieces to having a baby, right?! I’d like to think I’ve been around the block when it comes to raising babies. I’m what you’d consider a seasoned mom, after all this is my fourth baby. With that being said we have still managed to have firsts with our latest addition. After three boys, this little girl has given me a few new scares or what my mom likes to call gray hairs.

babies and bath time

In honor of National Baby Safety Month, I’ve partnered with Baby Magic to share all about keeping baby safe at bath time. Bath time is probably the most stressful time for a parent. Water, slippery babies, it can get a little nerve wracking.

With newborns less is more. You actually don’t have to wash your baby every single day. Take advantage of that, because soon bath time will become more necessary than ever. Be ready for bath time with Baby Magic lotion and washes. We love the Original Baby “Pink” scent.  Baby Magic also offers an innovative No-Rinse Wash, Creamy Baby Oil, Diaper Rash Cream and Healing Balm. Baby Magic is gentle, tear-free, paraben-free, hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested.

A safe place for baby

I found that our sink is a great place to have my daughter at a more eye level place. Having to kneel down at our tub was hard on me and made me a little nervous. I highly suggest using a baby tub inside of your tub or using the sink. You don’t need too much water either.

Complete Supervision

Have your Baby Magic wash, bath towel and was cloth in arms reach. There should never be a reason to step away from baby. Before they can hold their head and sit up make sure you have them in a safe baby bath that has an incline or on a towel.

Bath Toys

Safe bath toys are a great distraction for baby and help you get baby cleaned up while they are playing. Make bath time fun and relaxing. Keep everything else out of reach from little ones.
