We all know I am thrifty, as thrifty as one could be.  I make a bee line to the clearance sections, organize my online shopping by “least expensive”, shop daily deal sites and always silently say to myself “I can make that” – instead of buying it.  I have numerous projects going at one time, homeschool the boys, run an ahem- full time blog, maintain a household of five, volunteer endlessly, manage a tee ball team, I am an over-commiter by nature!  The two things I pride myself on are creating a daily balance among all the chaos that surrounds my life and making the most of my family time.   Now how does one that attempts to take on everything imaginable, strive at finding balance?!

Simply, I make important small decisions for my family that will in the end save us time and money.  I buy in bulk, make one huge grocery trip every two weeks, and make those important purchases – good ones.  Let’s take our toilet paper for example.  Toilet paper is a necessity in everyone’s lives and the decision is a big one.  Yes you could go grab any old brand your heart desires, but let’s be honest we want the good stuff.  The stuff that lasts, the perfect blend of strong and soft and because I am thrifty I want it at a good price!
