This blog post is part of a paid The Motherhood and Dreyer’s blogging program. The opinions and ideas expressed here are my own. #ReasonToSmile
We are three weeks into the school year and starting to find our groove. Early mornings, off to school, carpool, afternoon snack, after-school activities, homework, dinner, early to bed…repeat. My five year old is starting to get the hang of things and I find a big part of me trying to make this repeated cycle fun and exciting. My guy loves being rewarded, so in an effort to keep him coming home excited about his long school day, I am giving him a reason to smile with Dreyer’s ice cream. Nothing is more exciting to him that having something special waiting at home. And snack time is a great time for us to connect, talk about our day and have a little one-on-one time. My now kindergartner has become so independent that snack time is the only time I have found him to really depend on me and open up about his day.
Our favorite Dreyer’s ice cream is currently the butter pecan, cookie dough & mint chocolate chip flavors.
Take any of your favorite Dreyer’s slow churned light ice cream flavors and share a bowl of deliciousness. We love that every single scoop is filled with our favorite mixings. The unique flavors and creamy taste of Dreyer’s goes perfectly in a waffle bowl.
