Four Easy Ways to ward off the Cold & Flu Season

Sniffling, coughing, sore throats and sneezing it’s our worst nightmare.  As the days get colder we seem to find ourselves in the thrust of cold and flu season.  Are you taking precautions in your everyday life to ward off those pesky germs that are lurking. We take to four easy ways to help keep you healthy.


You Are What You Eat

Keeping  your immune system in tip top shape means eating the right foods.  Great items to stock up on this season are yogurt, fish, flaxseed, bright fruits, and vegetables.  Also staying hydrated is a must.  Using a reusable bottle is a great way to make sure you are getting enough water in daily.

Wash & Sanitize

Keep your hands clean.  Door handles, shopping carts, money, they are crawling with pesky germs.  Carry around hand sanitizer and wash your hands with soap whenever possible.  Washing with water only won’t do make sure you are using soap and scrubbing for at least 25 seconds.

Don’t Let them Breed

Germs breed and thrive in area’s like pillows, sheets, couches, carpets, and other unsuspecting places in your home.
