Celebrating at Denny’s Free Grand Slam #DennysDiners

Yesterday I celebrated my thirty-fifth birthday. It feels like yesterday that I was counting down the days until I was eighteen. I wish I could go back and tell my “dying to be an adult” self to slow down. I wanted so badly to move out on my own and live on my own agenda. If I only listened to my mom when she told me being an adult was hard. It’s been one of those weeks where I am reflecting on life and eternally grateful for where I am today, despite growing up way too soon.

I used to want this grand day of events to celebrate my birthday, I kind of expected to be spoiled. Yikes what was I thinking, I realize now how much of a bratty kid I was.  My birthday started off at Denny’s Diners with my husband and boys. Did you know that you can get a free grand slam breakfast on your birthday at participating Denny’s Diners? It’s true make a date with Denny’s Diners on your birthday and enjoy a delicious grand slam breakfast. We always start birthdays off with breakfast at Denny’s Diners. It our little family tradition and a great way to start the day.

Everyone ordered from the epic value menu, of course our family breakfast wouldn’t have been complete without $4 all-you-can-eat pancake stacks for the boys. It’s hard to resist the delicious fluffy pancakes that will keep coming.

We topped off our morning with some shopping for our renovated kitchen and a trip to the movies. We picked up a few essentials for a night in and had cake for dinner. Some of the press of birthdays in our family is that anything goes and everyone celebrates.

Don’t forget about Denny’s Diners Free Grand Slam for your next birthday shenanigans.
