About that van life I said would never be a part of… I officially wave my white flag and surrender, I was unequivocally wrong about owning a van. Maybe I should backup just a minute, because I can’t speak for every van. I had the opportunity to test drive the Kia Sedona SX-L for a week and I am now left dreaming about how cool this van is.

I have been that frazzled and stressed mom loading a baby, toddler and ten-year old in the car. Shuffling a diaper bag, keys, car seat, and holding little hands all at the same time. It’s in those moments I want things as simplified as possible and look for ways to streamline my routine. The Kia Sedona features a keyless lock, unlock, dual power sliding doors and power lift gate right from the remote. These options are a saving grace in those frazzled moments.

The interior of the Kia Sedona is sleek and complete with all of the necessary options at my fingertips.

Have all the infotainment at your fingertips, with the simple command center.

One of my favorite features turned out to be the heated steering wheel feature. The warmth on my fingertips is something I never knew I needed in my life.

Taking safety up a notch the Kia Sedona offers the Rear-Camera Display feature along with the Surround View Monitor system. The all-around view displays real-time images from four cameras, for a virtual ‘bird’s eye’ view.

The interior leather adds elegant detail and ease of clean with our big family. The second row seats  trasnform effortlessly as Slide-N-Stow®.

The fold down center console seat is another feature we could appreciate. It allows for the third row to view the DVD screen and keeps the 2nd row occupants in their personal space. I think any mom can appreciate that.

Third row, because… kids, their friends, grandparents, dogs. Really we need the space and the Kia Sedona proved to fit eight people very comfortably.

No more “it’s hot, it’s cold”. My passengers separate controls to adjust their climate.

Hooray for cargo space that doesn’t take up the length of the vehicle when you don’t need it.

The deep cargo space, still allows me to shop in bulk even with a van full of kids.

The exterior is sleek and clean with all the features we love.
