My Life Ticker

I made a lengthy list of to-dos this past New Years. I don’t practice the game of New Years resolutions because frankly I forget about them after January. I do, however, make a to-do list of things I want to accomplish in the next year. Some big, some little and some just for the sake of reflecting on later in life and saying, I did that!
As I seek to complete all of my to-dos, I have discovered I am really knocking the list out. As I do, I am learning a little more about myself and digging deep into what really matters to me. I stepped out of my comfort zone, I made a point to visit my longtime best friend, I started a new blog and I made a date with my boys to visit the park at least once a week. What makes me excited is that I have been documenting these events on my Facebook profile – keeping pictures of everything. Recently, I took these pictures and reflected on my proudest (and some of my not-so-proud) moments with my Life Ticker.
Life Ticker is a website by Vanguard that links to your Facebook (you can also do it without Facebook if you choose) and turns all of your photos into a scrolling ticker that looks just like a stock market ticker. Only, it’s pictures from your life and allows you to add a tidbit, as well as positive and negative arrows that describe the ups and downs in your life. The Life Ticker encourages you to step up your game, think BIG and live a better life.
I would love to see your Life Ticker. It’s easy, takes no more than a few minutes, and you will be reflecting on the things that matter most to you. It’s not too late to make 2013 your best year yet.
