National Missing Children’s Day San Antonio, Texas Event at MacArthur Park May 23, 2015

National Missing Children’s Day San Antonio

On May 23, 2015 the Heidi Search Center will host a community event at MacArthur Park in honor of National Missing Children’s Day. Learn how to keep your children safe through community resources. This family fun event will also include food, family activities and music.

National Missing Children’s Day was first proclaimed on May 25th in 1983 by President Ronald Reagan. Each administration since has honored this annual reminder to the nation to renew efforts to reunite missing children with their families and make child protection a national priority. National Missing Children’s Day is a reminder to all parents and guardians of the need for high-quality photographs of their children for use in case of an emergency, and for the need for everyone to pay close attention to the posters and photographs of missing children.
