Olive Garden Pronto Lunch

This post is sponsored by Olive Garden. All thoughts expressed are my own.

I was invited to celebrate Take your child to work day at Olive Garden this year to celebrate the day. Except my line of work doesn’t make for the most opportune situations all the time. So we did our own rendition on take your child to work day last week. Olive Garden has partnered with Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation every year since 2012. On April 23, Olive Garden celebrates by offering a free children’s menu item for every adult entrée purchased during lunch that day. My kids get to see me work everyday, but never really know what I do. I was mortified when Brody said to his class that his mom likes to play on her computer. I imagine they picture me gaming all day 😉 If only, kid.

I offered the boys a personal day last week and they quickly obliged to spending the day with mom to run some much-needed work errands and grab lunch at Olive Garden.

I am a huge fan of the Olive Garden Pronto Lunch menu. My favorite is the classic unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks combination with an add-on mini bowl of  Ziti with Five Cheese Marinara. All that for under $10 is my kind of lunch.  My boys love fettuccine and  the smoothie combinations (I love them too, but don’t tell them I sneak sips when they aren’t looking).
