Perfect Party Food
Happy New Year friends! We spent our New Years Eve celebrating with some of our favorite people. It’s truly a great way to bring in the New Year. We had a plan to do dinner, cocktails and have plenty of party food to keep us busy until midnight. Snack foods are my favorite, I am truly more of a grazer when it comes to eating anyway. I love to try everything and always try to not over indulge. So this party was all about perfect party food.
How do you shop for the perfect party food?
My favorite place to shop for a party is Sams Club. With the buy in bulk lifestyle I told you I was incorporating this year, I took one of my guys with me and we did a little last minute shopping. We ended up in the Sams Club freezer section because I wanted the most simple, no prep appetizers possible. Of course I wasn’t going to skimp on eye appeal and a fancy looking appetizer. The Daily Chef Chicken & Bacon Bruschetta won hands down. For one, it’s as simple as pre-heating the oven and cooking for 10 minutes and also it is something I thought adults would be drawn too. We also picked up a bottle of Moscato because it’s not a New Years party without a glass, or two.
With the table set perfectly for us to enjoy a little New Year’s Eve bash, we heated up the Daily Chef Bruschetta. No fuss, no mess and we had more time to enjoy with our friends without being stuck prepping appetizers. I also love that this is a box of 32 and the bruschetta is wrapped in sets of 16. We were able to make and serve half and save the rest for later in the evening.
Friends, food, kids enjoying a few activities and perfect party food. The Chicken & Bacon Bruschetta was a great addition to the party. The mix of chicken, bacon and tomato with melted cheese over a crisp buttery bread was a super fancy appetizer. It’s always fun trying something new and having it be a hit. The next time we have guests over or have another party to go to I will definitely be serving Daily Chef Bruschetta. They also have a spinach & artichoke bruschetta that sounds yummy.
