Embracing ME. Proud To Be ME in 2015

 You know that feeling you get when you realize it is Friday?

 This is me when I discover it is in fact FRIDAY:

Excited for the weekend, even if it is just because I don’t have to set an alarm for the weekend. This morning we all lingered out of bed. The sun shining and a careless day awaiting us. March 16th is ME Day, a day created by domain .ME. A day where we are reminded about the value of self-appreciation and importance of taking care of ourselves. Even in the busiest and craziest days, the right attitude, appreciation for myself and where I am at in this very moment is what fuels me. Why can’t I have a Fun Friday attitude each and every day? The precious moments that I just seem to take for granted await me every single day. With 2015 came this realization that my life, blog and commitments should all be met with a Fun Friday attitude. I realize that life isn’t all rainbows and butterflies and those curve balls that get thrown my way can be hard to avoid and can quickly spiral into negativity. But who cares, right! This is ME and I am flourishing, have a beautiful family and we have the entire world in front of us.

It has been easy for me to put things off and keep waiting for the right time. Quite often I realize that I have just talked myself out of moving forward with a dream or a grand idea. But I do this out of fear of failure. I am stopping the fear, embracing all that comes with reaching for my dreams and am proud to be ME. There is no perfect time, I am creating the perfect time by not waiting. Today I am accepting the fact that I am not perfect, but my dreams are.  My goals are going to take me out of my comfort zone and make a better and unique ME. I am striving to grow in 2015 and not searching for a reason to put it off. If you are not where you think you should be at this point in time, make that sacrifice to believe in yourself and respect where you are at this very moment.

What are you going to do with your time? Stop leaving those opportunities left behind, embrace you and I will embrace and ME. Be proud of where you are in your life and commit to keep improving.

Let’s celebrate “ME Day,” together  March 16th, 2015. This day promotes the values of diversity, tolerance and freedom, as well as self-appreciation and importance of taking care of ourselves. {Created by domain .ME}
