Oh October, how we will miss you. The entire month of haunting brings an indescribable thirty-one days of fun to our home. We spend our weekends searching for frightful family friendly television and telling ghost stories (that never turn out scary). It turned out to be an extra special treat when The Haunting Hour season 3 came back to the Hub and we had a party to celebrate.
What started out as a party of 8 quickly turned into a party of 38. The kids as always outnumbered the kiddos. With junk food that could go on for days we were ready to partay HUB style. Anyone not dressed in a costume got there very own “Team Grampire” shirt which was a huge hit and even got a few out of their costumes and into a comfy shirt. We started out with food and desserts that were movie friendly. Everyone found a comfy spot and the kids grabbed themselves a new set of teeth. After we watched Grampires we headed outdoors to do a Haunting themed scavenger hunt.
What did we think about Grampires?
The adults agreed this was definitely suitable for all ages. We had 4 year old’s that were mostly glued to the show. It was a little bit scary but never creepy enough to give anyone nightmares. Mom and dad approved! Most of the parents watched from beginning to end (except the ones catering to the needs of children that love to snack), which is a good sign of a well down show.
We give it 4 thumbs up out of 5. The older boys did want a little more scare, but even they gave it thumbs up and are looking forward to catching The Haunting Hour on Hub on Sundays.
