Some people are born with an eye for style. For some of us the ideas are there but executing a fashion forward look is easier said than done. I have had my fair share of hits and misses. You win some, you lose some, right?! At least that’s the concept I roll with. For me growing as a writer has encouraged my creative side everyday and I have begun to push myself to learn all I can, especially when it comes to thriving as a style and fashion writer.
Does your life revolve around fashion like mine does? Whether you are an expert or not, if you share a love for style you naturally want to immerse yourself in the current trends. So why not join me in learning all there is to become a more successful fashionista at Skillshare School of Fashion & Style Classes.
Skillshare offers the most essential classes on skill from industry leaders who are shaping the world of fashion today. Whether you are an aspiring apparel brand mogul, simply looking to write your first style blog post or just want to maximize your skills as a fashion forward human. The Skillshare School of Fashion and Style classes will provide you with the tools to make it all happen.
I have taken a few classes on Skillshare in the past few months on writing and blogging. And tonight I will dive into my first Skillshare online class “20s Inspired Beauty: Recreate the Look of the Decade”.
The Project Guide for this class includes:
Learn how you can incorporate beauty from a bygone era into your make up without it looking costume like. In this course, we’ll teach you how to create a strong smoky eye, defined brows, and apply faux lashes reminiscent of the makeup style from the 1920s. The look will be completed with a modern lip technique and texture.
Doesn’t that class sound amazing? The best part is, this one is a free video course, now not all of them are free but some of them are. Score, right?! There are tons of courses to choose from and new courses added all of the time. You know what you are getting into right from the get go with the at a glance feature. Read past reviews and decide if the class is something that interests you. Each class will give you a project to complete. You will also have the ability to collaborate with fellow students to give and get feedback on your work. Use the video lessons at your own pace and follow the project guide designed by your teacher to complete the class project.
What I love most about Skillshare is that it is designed for student-to-student interaction and collaborative teaching. Although you have a teacher who presents the class content you also have students to learn from, view, like and critique their class projects.
