A real girls guide to spring trends for the weekend.
I was in my closet last night pulling out shorts and tank tops, it’s going to be in the 80’s the rest of the week. And I have nothing! For some girls this is a scenario all to familiar. I worked in retail for a better part of my teen years and had repeat customers who always needed a new outfit. I totally got them because, I also get entirely bored of yesterdays wardrobe and find it hard to not add a new piece or two (or three) every few weeks. Needless to say I should not ever work retail again unless I fully intend on not ever seeing a paycheck. It also doesn’t help that new spring trends and weekend must haves are so darn cute. I now justify my wardrobe updates with the fact that I get photo’s taken of me a lot, my instagram is filled with selfies and I get invited to some pretty amazing events. For instance, I have been dying to share that I am headed to Las Vegas at the end of the month **insert**OH EM GEE moment**! I am joining RoC skin care as their blog ambassador at Uncork’d by Bon Appetite. I can’t begin to tell you how exciting this all is for me. So in the meantime I need to get my spring trends and weekend must haves wardrobe on point.
10 spring trends to add to your wardrobe in 2015.
This spring it’s all about rocking a classy romper. Pick a good comfortable fabric that flows and don’t be afraid of prints. Just please try it on and make sure it fits comfortably and doesn’t ride up in all the wrong places.
2. Fringe Bag
70’s inspired accessories are huge for 2015. I love this suede hobo.
The kimono trend is huge this season and perfect for layering and playing up denim. Go for short sleeve, sheer styles for this spring.
Because they are flattering and aren’t uncomfortable like your average heel. AKA you can comfortably be in mom mode and wear a wedge, winning.
5. Pocket Dress
The pocket dress trend is huge. Last year I searched high and low for flattering dresses that had pockets. This year I am so glad the trend is back. I absolutely love my eshakti custom pocket dress.
6. Over-sized Sunglasses
Sunglasses are more of a necessity than an accessory for me. Glamorize a must have with a cat eye over-sized style.
7. Bandeau one-piece swimsuit
This swimsuit hits two spring trends. Floral print and bandeau one-piece.
8. Crochet shorts
I love a fancy pair of shorts. And these as a cover up are fancy and comfy.
9. Leather sandal
I have mentioned before my affinity for flip-flops. But to really amp up a spring look, go with a leather sandal.
10. Large fedora
Skip the floppy hat this season and go for a large brimmed fedora for a trendy look.
