This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and State Farm. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
Last week I shared details on the Celebrate My Drive campaign from State Farm.
High schools in the United States are eligible to compete for the opportunity to win a $100,000 grant check for your high school, as well as a concert featuring Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson. There are 100 grants and two concerts that will be awarded through this promotion.
The Celebrate My Drive Campaign is helping to encourage Teen Driver Safety.
During the week of October 18-26, you are encouraged to make safe driving commitments on behalf of your high school. The more commitments made, the better your chances of winning a grant for your high school and maybe even a concert from Kelly Clarkson. State Farm agents will also be hosting student-focused events across North America.
Auto crashes are the number one cause of death among teens in North America.
Car crashes are the leading killer of teens and the first year on the road is the most dangerous. Research shows that sharing and celebrating positive teen driver safety messages with today’s young drivers is more powerful than scaring them with the possibility of negative outcomes.
