Music is a huge part of my life. I grew up in a Mexican household where family gatherings meant my tio’s blaring Tejano music and BBQing in the backyard. And the ladies channeling Spanish ballads in the kitchen as they cooked up some mean Mexican rice and potato salad. Needless to say all the kids in my family where very in touch with our roots from a young age. And now I can sing the praises, of my Mexican heritage, tight knit upbringing, appreciate music and Sunday Funday as family day!
While Tejano music stays close to my heart, I am more of a Latin/Pop/Reggaeton music lover. I am a huge Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez {go JLover’s} fan. After all I did spend my best date night of 2011 with three Latin hotties. So yes, this Latina doesn’t sway from her roots and embraces the Latin Culture. It’s no fad people, Latin Music is mainstream and here to stay.
I’m an old school Enrique fan, loved his music early on and reminisce with the classics Escape, Hero and Addicted. His newer song Dirty Dancer is another hit I am digging. The guy can sing and in person he’s even more easy on the eye’s. Total hottie alert! JLo is that charismatic light up a room bombshell Latina, I could only dream to be. She’s a hit after hit, steal the show diva and can definitely shake what her momma gave her.
