There is always room for plaid, right?  It seems these days I am not playing it so safe in the clothing department.  Traveling outside of the matchy – matchy styles and going for bolder trendy looks.  I even pair browns and blacks together {gasp, I know}.  There are rules to life, like when do I stop shopping in the juniors section?  Is it not okay to walk out of a forever 21 full of clothes for myself?  I know I will deal with these hurdles as they come.  But for now I bring you one style that is so right and doesn’t get enough credit in my book.

It’s all about plaid!

I got on this kick of plaids because my boys are in need of styles that show their personalities and frankly I am sick of the spiderman shirts and jeans.  Little bits of plaid always looks great and it’s easy to layer and mix match for fun not so serious but cool kid looks.

The great part is we already own bits and pieces but just need to do a little shopping for the fun not so matchy pieces. 

For chic mom plaid, I opted for a few fun looks that are definitely style worthy.

So who’s plaid shopping now?   I am on the hunt for a few fun plaid looks.
