Zooper Waltz in Wild Green

The fabulous new and improved Zooper Waltz stroller is here and boy does it deliver.  You are about to hit picture overload, bear with me the details are well worth it.  The Waltz comes filled with amazing accessories including a detachable foot muff, detachable UV shade, detachable snack tray, detachable arm rest, infant car seat attachment strap and cup holder.  This is a compact stroller that delivers everything you need and want with out making turning it into a bulky stroller.  Weighing in under 19 lbs this is a stroller you can easily transfer from car and out.

The padded headrest is designed with newborns in mind.  It is the perfect resting spot for my 12 month old and easily adjusts as your baby grows.

A nice huge canopy delivers everything you need for all types of weather conditions.  A UV net, rain cover, and sunshade is packed into one single canopy.  The multiple zippers allow for a quick adjustment to accommodate your needs.  I love that it is so versatile and stashed away in the zippers.  With one zip you can add or lesson the coverage of the canopy.  There are also two nice size pockets on the back of the canopy perfect for keeping your any of you belongings.

A nice size cup holder sits nicely on the right arm of the stroller.  Making it accessible and out of the way.

The one step recline of the seat is simply done with one hand.  Pull up to gently lower the seat.  To sit up, just push the seat back up from behind.  There is also another hidden pocket right under the recline.  A nice place to slip your cell phone, perhaps?!

A large removable snack tray offers plenty of space for your little one to snack and place their cup.  The cup holder fit even our bulkiest sippy cups nicely.

The snack tray can be quickly removed and switched out with the padded arm rest.  We love this feature, especially for little ones who don’t snack yet.  I used this at the zoo and it was nice for my little guy to get up and close enough and not feel restrained in a huge stroller.  He will usually to get out of strollers to get a better view or to reach out.  With this arm rest he can come closer to the edge and still be restrained from dangers.

The detachable UV shade is great for those outings where you need a little more protection from the dangerous sun.  It’s also perfect for those pesky bugs that we sometimes have to fight off.

The big utility basket is large enough to fit my huge diaper bag/purse with lots of space to spare.

Also included is the infant car seat strap which works on most strollers.  It held my Chicco Infant Car Seat nice and snug.

The removable foot muff and full coverage canopy makes the weather a non issue when you need to take your precious cargo out and about.

Another look at the canopy with the seat reclined and protection net.  This offers a safe place for baby to be.

Yes,  my son is wearing shorts in February! That’s TX weather for you :)

DJ loves the stroller just as much as I do.  With all of the options and accessories we have traded in our full size, jogging stroller and umbrella strollers for this more compact, luxurious and accessory filled stroller.  It turns on a dime and with ease.  I was able to push my son and our bags one handed through a busy zoo with no problems.

I drive a big SUV, so most everything I can somehow squeeze into the cargo space.  You can see the stroller does not take up a lot of space.  Sits nice and flat and can even be turned on its side to gain even more room.

Sweet Bib DIY Saturday Project

20120205-003057.jpg

A little project I worked on for the little guy tonight. He is in major drool mode these days. I have been looking for uses of these iron on letters and finally found one.   I have a million bibs that are boring to say the least.  A cute little saying and I spruced these bad boys up. Will add more pics tomorrow of a few more I’m working on.  A fun Super Bowl bib?!

5 tips to get your little one changed #SlipOnHUGGIES

I received the opportunity to give my favorite tips and tricks to getting my little one diaper changed.  I have had and still get lots of practice with this nagging issue.  With a ten yr old, 2 year old and 6 month old now under my belt, I am a self proclaimed pro.  It has been a whirlwind of dramatic changing sessions, to say the least.  My 6 month old who we affectionately refer to as our chunky monkey is the best example of a wiggle worm, especially when it’s time to change the diaper.  To keep this kiddo still is a daily challenge.

My first tip to getting that bottom covered is the amazingly new design of diapers from huggies.  Little movers slip-on diapers do just that…slip on.  You can literally pull this diaper up with your little one twisting, turning, crawling or standing.  No need to keep that little one flat so that you can get those tabs stuck.

Tip number two toys, toys and more toys.  The more options the better.  I keep a few smaller chew type toys close by so that my chunky monkey can explore with his hands and mouth while I attempt the diaper change.

Tip three a fun spot.  I have an activity mat in our living room that has toys that hang over head.  This is perfect for keeping my chunky monkey occupied for a few while the deed is completed.

Tip four silly noises and faces. These are extra helpful when you are in public or not near any occupy-able spots.  My 6 month old loves crazy noises and silly faces.  And I love that I can make him giggle with a face that would embarrass my oldest.   You can get away with so much when your little ones are young.

My last and final tip is to be prepared. Diapers, wipes, rash creme, toy or two and an extra onsie.  Have a spot in multiple rooms, your vehicle, diapers bag etc.   I have four ready changing stations.  My sons nursery, my bedroom,  a cubby type box in the living room and in our play room upstairs.   In my vehicle I keep a quart size baggie with 2-3 diapers, wipes, teether and extra onsie.  My diaper bag has all of the essentials and then some.

You can never ever be more prepared and a clean baby is a happy baby.   Ask my chunky monkey.
