Toddler Parenting Challenges Exposed #HuggiesLatino

Everyday is a challenge and an adventure as a mom to this toddler.  He is full of life, rambunctious and gets into E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!  Recently I started to watch this sweet boy test the waters and push limits.  He is fascinated with seeing how far he can go.  Teaching right and wrong is are huge parenting challenges I am facing.  How far should I take the punishment, when he is only two?  Talk it out? Time Out?

In the past couple of weeks Dom has managed to tag our walls with permanent marker.  Unsuccessfully log into his big brothers laptop messing up the keyboard. Put an entire roll of toilet paper in the toilet.  Pull the dvd player out of his brothers xbox and put 4 cd’s into the PS3 at one time.  I found my wedding ring in the wash room by chance and hadn’t even known he had gotten to my jewelry holder and rearranged everything.  And last but not least today I found my little guy without a diaper.  Needless to say I found smelled my way to the dirty diaper.  I’m worn out just thinking about all of the headaches we had fixing these little problems.

How am I overcoming these parenting challenges:

Embrace the toddler years.  Love it and immerse yourself in the terrible two’s and if your lucky {or not} three’s.  As they say, they grow up so fast.

Accept the Challenges that come your way.  Try to avoid the obvious repeat offenses. For instance, my jewelry holder now has a new home that is to high even for tippy toeing toddlers.

Turn it into a learning Experience.  Talk about why we don’t play with the Xbox {or the PS3}.  “Now we can’t watch a movie or play a game.”

Find strength in Sharing your story.  I know I am not alone in the exploration of toilet paper and computers.  Hey at least he knows where the toilet paper goes, right?!  Find a friend with experience in the toddler years.  It’s always relieving to know you are not alone in your daily challenges.

Have a great defense.  I am a tried and true believer in Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers with New SureFit Design.  Perfect for busy body toddlers like mine and virtually leak proof.  I also love Huggies Natural Care Wipes with New Triple Clean Layers, they not only cleans bums and gentle on faces and hands but they are perfect for all kinds of toddler messes.

There are many students who are merely trying to make it and have a long or beneficial credit history are often a difficult thing to have.”

  3. “Amazing! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Great choice of colors!”
