When I think of traveling, it’s very easy to un-think it. Realistically with two toddlers I am unsure of our place in the world of traveling. I want my boys to explore the world, experience fun and exciting places but where do they fit in? I was thrilled to get to meet Colleen Kelly the host of a New Family Friendly Travel Show coming to us in 2013 “Family Travel with Colleen”. Colleen’s show will focus on traveling with your entire family from her own tips on parenting on the go to experiencing cities with your kids in tow. The Hyatt Hill Country resort and Spa hosted a meet and greet with Colleen and area mom bloggers.
We got a sneak peak of the pilot Chicago edition of Family Travel with Colleen Kelly. The show will launch on Public Television in Spring 2013 and this week they are filming right here in San Antonio. While we chatted up traveling with our family we also got to experience the Hyatt’s “Kids By kids” menu full of organic, healthy mom approved foods and learn a little about the Hyatt Hill Country Resort and Spa. I’m surprised I haven’t blogged about this resort before, my family has stayed twice and we love every minute of it. FYI you have to put this resort on your to visit list it’s our favorite stay-cation destination with four acres dedicated to outdoor play.

I am super excited to see how they depict the city I grew up in and all the fabulous places that our family can enjoy with a little travel. Colleen may just take this scared to travel with family mom into new territories. The show looks exciting and adventurous. Are you a family traveler? I sure hope we can find our way into traveling with our boys.
