Pollo Tropical San Antonio Opens 3rd Restaurant April 17

Pollo Tropical is opening its third local location in Northwest San Antonio with a grand opening celebration on April 17. The new Pollo Tropical San Antonio restaurant will boast the Caribbean-style design featuring bright island colors and details that help guests soak up the feel of a shore side retreat while they enjoy handmade, island-inspired cuisine. The 3,400-square-foot restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating for more than 90 guests and a convenient drive-thru.

Festivities include calypso music, prizes, and a robo-surfer challenge where contestants will compete for first and second-place prizes of $500 and $300 for their favorite charity.

Pollo Tropical’s menu of signature citrus-marinated grilled chicken, Mojo Roast Pork, Calypso Beef and Grilled Tropical Wings. Made-from-scratch sides rice, beans, yuca and sweet plantains. New Cheese Empanadas—crispy, sweet corn empanadas filled with creamy, melted cheese—and Tangy Pineapple Chicken. The famous Saucing Island® brings on the flavor and a little heat with 10 signature sauces. Island-inspired beverages, ranging from Caribbean beers to coconut water and popular Refrescas in tropical breeze, mango peach and superfruit punch flavors. Diners can add rum to create a tropical cocktail or a Cuba Libre made with Coca-Cola® and a fresh squeeze of lime.
