Fresh Faced Nude Summer Makeup Trend

Summer brings out the minimalist in me. There is nothing like caked on makeup that melts off with the heat to make you want to run from anything with color. With all my little imperfections, I would never ditch the makeup. Lucky for us the summer makeup trend calls for nudes, a fresh and dewy face that is perfectly polished. A look that will take you to the beach or on date night.

Here is me pre-makeup. Not fresh faced! Imperfections everywhere! This is real life people, what you get to see if you live with me or show up unannounced, yikes.

My transformation starts with Rimmel Clean Finish foundation. The foundation looks thick, but applies just like my favorite liquid foundations and has a thin finish.

I use a Beauty Blender to apply my foundation.

I then use Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder and apply it with a kabuki brush. The powder sets and reduces the shine from the foundation and gives an all over matte finish.

I give my eyes a little dimension next with the Glam Eyes Quad Shadow in Sun Safari.

The, beige, gold and brown tones of the quad eye shadow have a hint of iridescence, an pull together a nude look.

My next step is to swipe on bronzer just like I would blush. The summer calls for a more sun kissed dewy look and I love the natural barely there sun bronze.

I have the darkest eyes e-v-e-r so to give my eyes a little pop, I go for black eyeliner. A thin line on my top lid and then on my water line top and bottom for the tight line effect.
