Happy Birthday With Beneful | A Dogs Life

I fell in love with dogs the day my parents brought home our first dog. I was about five when Lady came into our family and loved her endlessly. Lady was a gorgeous black lab that spent much of her day protecting our home from strangers and the mail man. It seemed like every weekend we were doing something for lady. She always had a new treat, a new toy and for one of her birthdays in-particular she got a huge dog house that my dad set up in the backyard. When I was outside you could often find me in Lady’s house. 

Fast forward to today and my love for owning a pet (especially a dog) has magnified. I can’t imagine my home without a dog. Or my kids not having that special bond with their best friend. My husband is just as big a dog lover as I am. Owning a dog for us is special and important. Our dogs immediately fall into the role of becoming family. 

We celebrate birthdays and even our friends send over gifts. In particular our wonderful friends at Beneful who sent over this box of goodies to help us celebrate the big day. Party hats and musical cakes aren’t just for humans you know.

And a bag of Beneful Baked Delights, because birthdays are meant for being spoiled. 

I don’t know what we would do without our Rousey and Tex. They brighten our days with their love for us and playful attitudes. Just one look into their eyes and you know the feeling is mutual.
