Macy’s Backstage Affordable Shopping in San Antonio

Macy’s Backstage The Outlet Store has changed the game for affordable shopping in San Antonio. I visited the 25,000 square foot Rim location with my partner in crime last weekend to see what deals this Macy’s store has to offer. Macy’s Backstage proves to be a bargain hunters dream. Stepping in to the store you are greeted with the latest trends and must haves for the current season. The store flows with fashion, home, cosmetics, gifts, activewear and jewelry all on one level.

“We created Macy’s Backstage for the seasoned outlet shopper who enjoys the excitement of the treasure hunt but whose time and money is a commodity, “said Vanessa LeFebvre, senior vice president/general merchandise manager of Macy’s Backstage stores.

Suite dressing rooms with three-way mirrors make for a full fashion review. The free Wi-Fi and Juice Bar charging stations are the featured hits at Macy’s Backstage. The backstage beauty section allows you to sample, experiment, and play with the cosmetics and fragrances in the open sell Beauty section. With premium beauty brands such as NYX and E.L.F. you can shop and sample without having to commit until you know what you want. Shoppers can use their Macy’s credit card and earn Plenti points at Backstage locations.

I am pretty impressed with Macy’s Backstage. The space is clean and organized, which makes it easy to shop. I was able to pickup a swim suit for my daughter, a new handbag for myself, sunglasses and a hat for under $50.
