Hearing the word healthcare, is scary. Right?! For some of us yes, but that is an entirely different story and I could go on, and on, and on. Today we are talking Medicare. I have to admit I only learned about Medicare last year when mi abuelita got sick while she was in town staying with us for a week. She ended up admitted in the hospital and I was frantically learning about her coverage, medications and how we could get her healthy again.
Medicare is the federal health insurance program for US citizens, 65 and older. Anyone with Medicare (either Part A or Part B) is entitled to the drug coverage, Med-D.
There is no income requirement to qualify, no physical exams are required, and no one is denied with Med-D.
If a person is covered by Medicare they qualify for Part D, and can save even more money by transferring their prescriptions insurance plan over to Walgreens Pharmacy.
Our loved ones can refill their prescriptions online. Walgreens helps mi abuela stay on track with her medication via refill reminders & automatic prescription refills. She also can keep track of immunizations & more! With copays as low as $0 on select plans, Med-D at Walgreens is the only way for mi abuela. Walgreens also offers an expert advisor 24/7 with Pharmacy Chat, so my Abuela is always a phone call away from getting her health care questions answered.
Os animo a educarse a sí mismo en la salud de sus familias. Ayudarles a hacer el cambio a Walgreens farmacia.
I encourage you to also educate yourself on your familias healthcare and help them make the switch to Walgreens Pharmacy. There is always something we can do for our loved ones and helping them save money is a huge contribution.
