Just spent my Saturday in Labor and Delivery. Baby is great, but my kidneys have gone “hydro”(?!). I started experiencing back pain Friday evening and after a misserable night, I couldn’t take the pain, stand upright or be in any other position but hunched over. I went to the er Saturday morning, since I’,m already 25weeks pregnant I was taken up to labor and delivery to monitor baby and figure out why I was in so much pain. I was given a shot of benzol and demerol. After a sonogram they discovered my kidneys were very enlarged I was discharged with “hydro”-something kidneys. I am still in pain and can only take tylenol. Hopefully the pain will subside.
