I have come to the conclusion that wine makes everything better. Just in case you are now wondering, I am not an alcoholic and I don’t drink daily. I have always heard that a glass of red a day had benefits, but really what are they and how can I benefit?
I am sitting here with a bottle of Daniel Gehrs Merlot from my second month of the California Wine Club membership and I am here to tell you there are 3 reasons you should be adding wine to your diet.

Antioxidants found in grape skin, are good on your heart and your figure. Want to get slim? Grab a glass of red wine! Now the key is to get the resveratrol antioxidant into your blood stream. Take slow swigs of that glass of wine, swish it in your mouth and allow it to absorb in your mouth for a second before swallowing. Red wine is made with grape skin intact longer so the effects are more pronounced in red wine, but you will find resveratrol in the white too.
Now that I have your attention, flavanoids found in red grapes work as cancer preventatives.
A glass of wine in the evening is a great way to de-stress and relax.
