A special thank you to SeaWorld San Antonio for inviting my family out to experience SeaWorld Spooktakular.
Visit SeaWorld San Antonio Spooktacular Through 11/1

We spent an entire day at SeaWorld San Antonio and it was the escape we needed to get out of the groundhog day repeat we have been on all week. If you are in need of a spooktakular family-friendly experience with shows, thrills, and Halloween fun here’s the scoop. Let me tell you that I still have many reservations on how to tiptoe through this pandemic and still give my family a little bit of normal this Halloween. SeaWorld San Antonio is offering a great family-friendly experience.
They have changed things up to make sure guests and employees feel safe, first off you can’t just show up at SeaWorld. You have to make a reservation prior to entering the park. I didn’t know what to expect during a pandemic at SeaWorld, so I filled a backpack with extra masks, hand sanitizers, bottled water, and gloves. Once parked you make your way through a large air-conditioned tent that is set up so that you can go through a touch-free temperature check. The park is stocked with sanitizing stations at all the major areas, entrances, and exits. It was nice to get out of our bubble and still feel safe in a public atmosphere.

The trick-or-treat candy shoots are a fantastic addition to ensure treats are handed out safely. Make sure to take your own treat bag or you can purchase one at the shops for about $3. The trick-or-treat trail is open from 12-4 pm.

It’s the perfect spooky family-friendly fun way to trick-or-treat with the kids.

The park was a great escape and I was excited to see so many rides still running, the only ride we noticed that wasn’t running was the Atlantis.

Riders are spaced out between rows of the rides so there is a lot of social distancing and mask wearing is required for anyone over 2 throughout the park.
If you’re looking for more Halloween fun checkout SeaWorld’s Pumpkin Patch were you pick your own pumpkin, paint it and then enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet at Rosita’s Café.

Turtle Reef is one of our must visit areas at SeaWorld San Antonio. Miesha could watch the sea turtles all day.

We went last week, I’m so glad they are open Halloween weekend. We were looking for something to do outdoors.
That candy dispenser is genius.
Are they doing the preschool pass anymore? I think we are going to go on Halloween.
Hi Jenny, I believe under 3 is free. I have not seen anything new about the preschool pass, but I will be sure to pass on the information if I hear anything new.
I didn’t realize Seaworld was open. Do you know of any discounts? I want to take my kids.
Yes, go through the website, they are running a special on the single day tickets 🙂 Enjoy!
