I’ve been in a pandemic rut, is that even a thing? Being home in our bubble for so long has definitely been filled with ups and downs. Some weeks our energy was high, working on landscaping, clearing out closets, and reorganizing our garage. But what you didn’t see were the weeks where we did a lot of nothing, it was hard to be motivated, we lived in pajamas, my home was a wreck, and we all overate.

It was literally a ticking time bomb in my home and we were met with the reality that school was here, our lives were still not back to normal, and we had to push through making it all work. We all seem to be overwhelmed in our own way and channeling that energy to be productive sometimes requires outside help. So here we are about seven months into a pandemic and I waved the white flag. I need outside help to get me back to a place where I can be productive. Our home is a sanctuary, but being in it almost 24/7 for months can definitely make a person a little crazy.

The MaidPro San Antonio home cleaning crew came to my home for the first time last month and our home had it’s first real cleaning since February. I love that the Pros came in with realstic expectations for how they would tackle my home. They had a 3 hour window and allowed me to gve them direction on what they should focus on. This was a very important factor for me, as I really needed someone to help me get my most used areas of our home back in order. I struggle with completing an entire deep clean when I have 3 kids to tend to and work. I have always broken down my cleaning days, but mostly it is straightening up and spot cleaning, since deep cleaning our entire home could essentialy take me days if done by myself and require that I had my kids out of the house the entire time.

I had no idea what to expect, so I let them do their thing and used that time to go grocery shopping. Two hours later I came home to my kitchen literally spotless. My stainless steel appliances, like the inside of my toaster were cleaned, and I mean completely cleaned no more imbedded pieces of pop tarts and finger prints. The inside of my microwave was incredibly spotless, the infamous pizza oven that everyone ooh’s and ahh’s over when they see my kitchen was even cleaned out.

All of those pesky areas I quckly overlook were finally getting some attention. My ceiling fans were free of dust bunnies, my bathrooms showed no signs of being a home of boys, and my toiletpaper was left with a folded point. Overall my experience with MaidPros has been excellent. I get a walkthrough as they are completing the services and they even asked for feedback, making sure that I am happy is pricessless. I can’t put in to words how good it feels to walk into your home after it has been cleaned, especially after feeling like we’ve been on a hamster wheel trying to keep up. It’s one less stress to have someone lend a hand in your home. I can move my focus over to enjoying my family time and less on what needs to be cleaned.
