There is an amazing little coffee shop in my town that makes their own homemade whipped cream.  I finally upgraded my juicer to the Ninja Professional blender.  Who doesn’t love a dollop of whipped cream on top of their favorite dessert? Whether it’s a slice of pie, a bowl of fresh berries, or a steaming mug of hot cocoa, homemade whipped cream can take your treats to a whole new level of deliciousness. And the best part? You can easily whip up a batch of this creamy goodness right in your own kitchen using your trusty Ninja blender! I thought I’d give a homemade whipped cream recipe a whirl in it.  The results are delicious!

To make this Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe you will need 2 Cups of whipping Cream, 1/4 Cup of Sugar and 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla extract.

There’s something special about making it from scratch. For one, you have complete control over the ingredients. No added preservatives or artificial flavors—just pure, fresh cream whipped to perfection. Secondly, the flavor and texture of homemade whipped cream are unbeatable. It’s light, fluffy, and oh-so-creamy, with a rich taste that perfectly complements any dessert. Once you try homemade, you may never go back to the store-bought version again!

Place all of the ingredients in a mixer or blender – or – whip with a whisk in a bowl until thick peaks form.  In the Ninja Professional blender I blended on speed (1) for 20 seconds and increase the speed just a bit for 20-30 more seconds.

You will know it is ready once  stiff peaks have formed.

I used a decorating tool and filled it with the whipped cream to put over hot cocoa. Place the remaining in an air tight container in the refrigerator to keep the consistency.

The icing gun is a nifty item to have in your kitchen. I use it way more than I thought I would. Upgrade the look of deviled eggs, homemade cakes, and more. Shop a similar icing gun here.

Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups cold whipping cream
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

Tip: Chill Your Blender! The cream whips better and faster when the whipping cream is coldest. Try chilling your blender pitcher and the whipping cream in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for the best whipped results.

Add Ingredients to the Blender: Once everything is chilled, pour the cold cream into the pitcher of your Ninja blender. Add the sugar and vanilla extract.

Start on Low Speed: Secure the lid of the blender and start on a low speed to incorporate the ingredients. This prevents splattering and ensures even mixing.

Gradually Increase Speed: As the cream begins to thicken, gradually increase the speed of the blender. You’ll want to whip the cream until soft peaks form. This means that when you lift the blender out of the cream, the peaks should gently curl over.

Check for Consistency: Be careful not to over-whip the cream, as it can quickly turn into butter. Keep an eye on the texture—it should be thick and creamy, with soft peaks that hold their shape.

Serve and Enjoy!: Once your whipped cream is ready, spoon it onto your favorite desserts or beverages. It’s perfect for topping pies, cakes, fruit salads, hot cocoa, or even a simple bowl of fresh berries.

Best Homemade Whipped Cream Tips:

  • Make sure your heavy cream is cold—it whips better when chilled.
  • Use a low speed to start and gradually increase to avoid splattering.
  • Don’t over-whip! Soft peaks are your goal.
  • Customize your whipped cream with different flavorings like cinnamon, cocoa powder, or a splash of liqueur.

Making homemade whipped cream in your Ninja blender is not only easy but also incredibly rewarding. Once you taste the difference between store-bought and homemade, you’ll wonder why you ever settled for anything less. So, the next time you’re craving a sweet treat or want to impress your guests with a show-stopping dessert, reach for your Ninja blender and whip up a batch of this creamy perfection.
