What do you do to bring happiness and a healthy lifestyle into your families every day life? I have learned it’s definitely the little things that matter most. It’s easy for me to get caught up in the everyday routines and neglect the small important moments. Happiness is addictive and it’s free. My life goal is to teach my boys to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. My motivation was watching Big Hero 6 with my family. Hiro and Baymax had chemistry and a companionship like none other. Add more meaningful conversations to your car rides. Have a family breakfast. Find ways to engage at least once a day and spend time together even on your busiest day.

We have for as long as I can remember done a bedtime story each night. We now spend twenty minutes a day having our boys read to us each evening.
Have Fun
Plan something exciting for the family each week. Even if it’s a visit to a park for you have never been to, take advantage of the excitement in looking forward to something fun.
Glass Half Full
Work on seeing the positive in every situation and teach your children that dwelling on the negative will only cause unnecessary heartache and sadness.
Volunteer
Spend time volunteering in your community as a family. Try a food bank or animal shelter where everyone can get involved.
