It’s National Dog Week! An entire week dedicated to the most loyal beating hearts we know. If you follow me on social media you know how much my family and I adore our dog. Tex is 145 pounds of perfection. I can’t even complain about the amount of sweeping I have to do each day, because his companionship is priceless and worth every hair he sheds. Let’s kick this week off with daily celebrations to honor our dogs.

Food Is King

Reach out to your local dog shelter and see how you can help. Monetary donations are not all that is needed, most shelters are always in need of gently used towels, linens and other supplies.

New Toy 

Pick up a new toy for your dog. We tend to stash toys away and bring out something new ever so often to keep our pets interested in something new.

Doggie Playdate

Dogs love to spend time with other furry friends. Invite a friends dog over to hang out for a playdate.
