The San Antonio areas fresh concept micro-school JOY Holistic Education is currently open for enrollment in the Pre-K through 2nd grade group.
Imagine a classroom for your child that integrates an open concept of indoor/outdoor time, Spanish immersion, and an innovative curriculum. This is what a day at JOY School Spanish Immersion is like for children who attend the micro-school of about 30 students. Now more than ever families are focusing their attention to immersive classrooms that offer more one-on-one attention to their child’s educational experience.
With COVID making a huge impact on our decision on how to navigate this upcoming school year the JOY school is offering a safe space for families. All staff members are vaccinated, all adults must be wearing masks and they are highly encouraging that all kids 2 and older wear masks when inside.

JOY High Quality Practices
We strongly believe in active learning, where children are the protagonists and adults serve as facilitators of learning We use project based learning as the vehicle to connect real life experiences and interests to curriculum guidelines. We believe the learning environment is the third teacher and we are intentional on creating beautiful spaces that children learn to respect and interact with independently.
