Nutella lovers! This Banana Nutella Smoothie Recipe is just what you need! I’m so not a breakfast person. But, everyday I wake up and make my boys and husband breakfast. And when I say breakfast, I am talking bacon, eggs, biscuits, it’s an entire production to feed these four. They love breakfast and for some reason I can barely get myself passed my mint chocolate cocoa. 

I preach to my boys the importance of getting breakfast in and starting their day off with fuel. My muttering voice has started to resonate with me that I need to start putting my actions in high priority and not just my mouth. Maybe?! Nutella is just so delicious, I dream of what I can eat it with.

  1. One Banana sliced
  2. Four heaping Tablespoons Nutella
  3. 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
  4. 16 large cubes ice
  5. Whip Cream *garnish
  1. Add all 4 ingredients in blender.
  2. Blend until ice is blended.
  3. Pour into glass and add garnish.
  4. Enjoy!

  3. Mm, So good!! I found that two spoonfuls of Nutella is fine, though. It is a very potent ingredients so even that is almost more than enough! Thanks for posting though 🙂

  4. Nutella bickies!

    Place a sheet of puff pastry on your bench and spread an even layer of nutella all over.
    Cut it lengthways into about 4 strips, then cut again widthways 4 times you should end up with 16 squares.
    From the corner of each square roll to opposite corner and you will have what looks like 16 mini croissants.
    Bake in 170°C oven with flat side down on greased dish or paper for 15 -20 minutes (all ovens vary) take out when golden in colour and pastry cooked through.

    These taste amazing when freshly baked but also last for few days in airtight container (not as good as eating same day!)

  6. I was planning on making this earlier this week for breakfast, however the day it showed up on my menu it was 19 degrees outside and I wanted something warm. I just made this for me and my daughter as a snack and WOW it was so good!

  7. This looks delicious… as a dessert. How are you describing this as healthy? Look up the food specs: if you use 4 strict Tbsp of Nutella that’s 400 calories and at least 42 grams of sugar. You’ve exceeded your daily allowance for sugar in one drink! Factor in about 105 calories for the banana and depending on the greek yogurt you use (lets just say plain for the sake of argument), you’re looking at 600+ calories and 48+ grams of sugar. Again.. this should be a treat! Not a breakfast!

  8. This recipe is extremely sweet. It was hard to drink. I think half the amount of Nutella. I also would certainly not call this smoothie healthy.

  9. Hey great recipe! I like to add a handful of spinach or a tablespoon of ground flax to boost the nutrient content to make it an even better breakfast! You can’t even taste the spinach, and the flax just lends a delicious nutty flavour that I think pairs perfectly with Nutella (:
